Nemesis. A team made from sheer dedication and will. With fun days and long nights, Nemesis has been a huge part of my life in the past year.
Hi there! My name is Kavin Arora and I'm a sophomore and proud member of the Business team. Robotics has always been a part of my life; ever since 6th grade, when I created an FLL team with my friends. Even then, I knew that I loved making robots and hanging out with my friends. After remembering my time on that team, I was really excited to get back onto my journey in robotics when I was a freshman. I learned so much during those eventful couple years on the FLL team, and I plan to use those skills and more to make an impact as a member of Nemesis and as a member of the FIRST community, in general.
Outside of school, I love to swim and read books. I am also a member of Boy Scouts Troop 91, where I am working through the ranks, teaching younger scouts, taking on leadership positions, and striving for the rank of Eagle.
I am also very involved in community service, and have fundraised for many local nonprofits like BeKind and Project Freedom. I have raised at least $1,000 for each in the past year- which might show that I'm just a little bit passionate about community service! I am also active in a few clubs, like Model UN and Future Business Leaders of America. Both of these clubs have taught me a lot about debate and public speaking.
I am looking forward to another great year on this team and hope to learn and laugh as much as I physically can!
