Hi, my name is Melissa Nowicki and I am a sophomore on the 2590 Build Team. Though I have never been on an official STEM team, I have always questioned how things work and I enjoy all aspects of building and engineering. After a mostly uneventful school year as a freshman, I became eager to join a club/team so that I could become apart of something bigger than myself. After hearing about the robotics team from some of my friends, I knew it would be a great opportunity to expand on my interests. I am looking forward to learning this year and being a productive member of the team. When I'm not studying or doing school-related work, I find joy in practicing martial arts, which I am very passionate about and have been doing for about 10 years. Besides martial arts, I enjoy cooking, biking, reading, and spending time with my friends. I am very excited to increase my knowledge in the field of robotics and contribute to the team!
