My name is Sophie Billings and I am a sophomore on the marketing team. You can normally find me on some sort of field. Either I’m practicing soccer or softball for countless hours each week. This year I found a new home, the tech lab. I had always known about Nemesis 2590, but it wasn’t until this year that I decided to give it a whirl. Two of my closest friends joined the team last year and it was all that they would talk about. Seeing and hearing how much fun they had and everything they learned, I wanted to take part in the experience too! After the tryout process I was overjoyed to find out that I would be part of the team.
Outside of Robotics, I am part of the Varsity soccer and softball team and I am a member of student council. You can also find me in the alto section of the Robbinsville High School Concert Choir and I am a Girl Scout. Whenever I have the chance I enjoy skiing with my family too. On the team this year, I look forward to using all of the different perspectives I have to aid the team in as many ways as possible. So far I have enjoyed the planning that goes into marketing and all of the events. I look forward to competition season and the upcoming challenge.
